It's time for your massage when:

  • You can't remember your last good night's sleep.
  • You've had a knot or sore muscle and can't seem to get rid of it.
  • Your neck goes out more than you do.
  • You're under a lot of stress.
  • Those headaches just never seem to go away.
  • You have exercised too much.
  • You're feeling tired all the time.

Types of Massage:

Accupressure: Pressing of vital points along energy meridians or lines with the fingers, thumbs and palms.

Deep Tissue: Techniques which primarily seek effect upon the deeper tissues of the body such as fascia and other non-superficial tissues.

Native American Hot Rock Massage: Working with heated rocks and applying them with motion on the body. Many other rocks are placed on energy centers allowing warmth to flow over the entire body.

Russian: Repetitive series of massage strokes used primarily for sports related massage.

Shiatsu: Finger pressure system from Japan whereby the thumbs are used to press vital points along meridian lines.

Sports Massage: Specific techniques designed for athletes before, during, after and within training programs.

Swedish Massage: Derived from the formalization of the five basic strokes (effleurage, petrissage, friction, tapotement, and vibration).
